As a full-time Senior Audio, Video & Smart Home Technician, you’ll get to work with the BEST technology and technicians in the industry!

The role:

  • Programming, integration, and maintenance of home automation systems

  • Installation and programming of smart lighting control and automated shades

  • Custom audio & video & home theatre installation

  • Troubleshooting various tech issues

  • Configuring & terminating networks, switches & routers

  • Completing low-voltage pre-wiring

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures

  • Keeping accurate records and communicating with the team to ensure expectations are met

Your assets:

  • Programming & installation experience with ELAN, LUTRON RA2/RA3, LUTRON HomeWorks Lighting Control & Shades, Vantage Lighting Control, Araknis Networks & URC (don’t know some of these, but know others like Control 4, Savant and Crestron, no problem we can provide you with training!)

  • Proven multi-tasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail

  • Enthusiasm and a passion for AV & Smart Home Tech

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team

  • Able to read and understand diagrams, blueprints, and schematics

  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and take accurate measurements

  • Results-oriented, driven, and disciplined with a “can do” attitude

  • Effective communication skills with a positive, professional, and friendly attitude

  • G class driver’s license with a clear driver’s abstract

Working conditions:

  • Able to lift and carry 50+ lbs

  • Able to sit, stand, kneel, climb, lift, and climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding
