Master Electrician
We are looking for a fully licensed Master Electrician that is interested in smart home automation to join our growing company. The ideal candidate is someone who has installed lighting systems and is familiar with lighting control and automation.
The role:
Initial site survey & inspections
Completing low-voltage pre-wiring
Lutron HomeWorks & Vantage lighting panel installations and wiring
Audio, video, lighting systems, automated shades, and surveillance system installations and programming
Follow the OESC (Ontario Electrical Safety Code), local building regulations, and safety procedures for every installation and repair
ESA Permits and General residential electrical work
Inspect, test, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical system issues, safety hazards, and malfunctions
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures
Your assets:
Current 309A Electrical contractor license and Master Electrician Licence
Being in good standing with the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA)
Able to troubleshoot, make on-site decisions and adapt to a changing work environment.
Able to read and understand electrical drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and take accurate measurements
Proven multi-tasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail
Programming & installation experience with ELAN, LUTRON RA2/RA3, LUTRON HomeWorks Lighting Control & Shades, Vantage Lighting Control, Araknis Networks & URC is an asset (don’t know some of these but know others like Control 4, Savant and Crestron, no problem we can provide you with training!)
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Results-oriented, driven, and disciplined with a “can do” attitude
Effective communication skills with a positive, professional, and friendly attitude
G class drivers license with a clear driver’s abstract
Working From Heights certification
Enthusiasm, and passion for AV & Smart Home tech or experience with products and systems is a huge asset!
